XXX call from Y5LO (M/V Werbellinsee)
I read an XXX signal which went as follows:-
12x4 SEC DASHES XXX CQ CQ DE Y5LO AS (WAIT)
He then started as follows:-
XXX CQ CQ CQ DE Y5LO M/V WERBELLINSEE/Y5LO IN POSITION 33.33. 54 NORTH 35.36. 11 WEST HAS A HEAVY SICK MAN ON BOARD. GOT ADVICE FROM MEDICO GERMANY TO GIVE THIS MAN TO A DOCTOR/SURGEON ALL SHIPS WITH A DOCTOR ON BOARD PLEASE ANSWER FOR HELP AR TU NW QRV (I am ready)
A little while later I heard the following from a ship called ENCOURAGEMENT (3EEP2):-
Y5LO DE 3EEP2 500 K
After that nothing happened even though Y5LO had said he was QRV at the end of his PAN transmission.
The morse recording is good but it would have been better if we could hear the aftermath and response to the PAN signal as I am just curios to know whether the ship Y5LO managed to get a doctor/surgeon to attend. Or was the heavy sick man taken off by ship or helicoptor.
